Irrigation Technician

Job duties and responsibilities:

-Activate and deactivate irrigation systems according to seasonal priorities or pre-established schedules.

-Repair and troubleshoot irrigation systems as required.

-Submit thorough and accurate billing information for chargeable work performed.

-Promote and maintain safe working conditions.

-Program irrigation clocks to ensure proper watering of plants.

-Ensure proper use, care, and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned.

-Input data and invoice information for billing and history.

-Drive company vehicle safely.

-Obey all company safety regulations.

-Communicate clearly with customers and office personnel.

-Maintain a professional appearance.

-Work in all weather conditions.

-Able to work independently, for long periods of time.

Qualifications:

-High School graduation or GED

-Speak fluent English

-Positive work attitude and ability to work and communicate with customers

-Reliable transportation to and from work

-Valid NC driver's license with 2+ years of safe driving experience required

-Pass a pre-employment drug test
